Marcus and his fiancée Eva enjoy the weather of the Bay Area. The couple likes travelling to Las Vegas, with Marcus listing the roulette table as his favorite place to people watch. "Rags" was named to the 1998 Swedish Winter Olympic Hockey Team and recorded one assist in four games in Nagano in February. Marcus has been a mainstay on the Swedish National Team for the last several years, including capturing a Silver medal at the 1997 World Championships, playing on the 1995 World Championship team and being named to the 1996 World Cup squad (but was unable to play due to injury). Marcus is an avid fisherman and soccer player, and he bikes and rollerblades during the summer to stay in shape. Spent several weeks vacationing during the offseason in Idre, a fabled Swedish winter vacation resort, where he particpated in several outdoor activities, including mountain biking, hiking, hunting, fishing and golfing. On the links, he shot a personal best 73, which is impressive since he took up golf two years ago. His favorite TV show is Seinfeld and he would love to learn to play the guitar.
